Comfort for All
Universal Design
Comfort for All
We have incorporated universal design elements into the hotel and some guest rooms to ensure that everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay. We hope this will provide those who may have given up on the idea of traveling with an opportunity to stay with their loved ones.
Onsen
Wheelchair-accessible private onsen bath and public baths floored with tatami mats
The hotel is equipped with an accessible private onsen bath that can be entered while in a wheelchair. The floor of the tub can be elevated and lowered, and a special wheelchair is available for bathing. To use, move the special wheelchair onto the flat bottom of the tub and pull a lever to lower it into the water. This enables wheelchair users to also enjoy the onsen bath.
- If you wish to use the wheelchair-accessible private onsen bath, please inform us in advance by telephone to make a reservation.
- When using the wheelchair-accessible private onsen bath, it is necessary to be accompanied by a companion.
- To prevent accidents while bathing, the reclining height of the special wheelchair is designed to be higher than the rim of the tub. Please note that it is not possible to submerge the shoulders.
In addition, the public bath areas are floored with tatami mats to prevent slipping and also to provide cushioning in the unlikely event of a fall, for peace of mind while bathing.
*We apologize for the inconvenience, but please note that there are stairs leading to the men’s bath.

In addition to the installation of ramps and handrails, the rooms are designed for ease of use by providing electric reclining beds (one per room) and positioning the sinks at a height usable by wheelchair users. In addition, all switches equipped with multilingual displays (Braille and English), and call bells and emergency bells for the hearing impaired have also been installed.
