Renovated in August 2022. This suite is located on the top floor and has an open-air bath with the best view.
Enjoy the luxury of having Lake Suwa all to yourself while soaking in the guest room’s open-air bath with water flowing directly from the source. In this room, you can gaze at the luxurious view of Lake Suwa spreading out below you from the top floor while enjoying our private hot spring source “Bisui Spring.”

The panels and sliding doors that decorate the room feature masterpieces of Kyoto washi paper depicting the beautiful view of Lake Suwa, combining parts drawn by a Russian ink artist in a manner original to Shinyu. In the open-air bath, a shoji screen with Kumiko lattice work provides privacy. The interior fabrics are also made with a combination of materials ordered from overseas, making them unique. Relax in a luxurious modern Japanese space and enjoy a relaxing time overlooking Lake Suwa below.

• The top-floor suite on the 7th floor has steps leading up to the room. We ask that wheelchair users use the 6th floor suites and 5th floor semi-suite rooms.
